About the role
This position is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) providing orthopedic urgent care in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of 30-35 patients daily
- Primarily handling acute orthopedic cases across all ages
- Interpreting x-rays
- Documenting in Epic EMR
Qualifications
- Active Virginia license
- DEA registration
- Board certification
- Prescriptive authority
Work environment
The on-site clinic is supported by medical assistants, a midlevel clinician, and available surgeons and pain physicians.
Schedule
Day shifts with hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends, operating on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule. No call required.
