Urgent Care APP - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Under the direct supervision of a collaborative physician, physician site leader, and practice manager, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides medical care to patients within a detailed scope of practice. This is a primary care opportunity based in Hannibal, Missouri.
Join a collaborative team and develop a 1:1 relationship with physicians, clinical staff members, and management. Practice at the top of your license and form trusting relationships. Gain independence while impacting care and patient satisfaction. Full scope outpatient practice, seeing all ages. Epic EHR.
Responsibilities
- Complete physicals
- Order diagnostic and therapeutic modalities (e.g., laboratory, x‑ray, EKG)
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and infection management
- Prescribe medications
- Instruct and educate patients and their families in proper healthcare, appropriate illness prevention, and home care
- Document in the patient chart progress notes, orders, etc.
These responsibilities are performed under the scope of practice to optimize clinical outcomes.
