Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (PA) - Fulltime

UNC Health Urgent Care clinics, located in Clayton, NC, are seeking full-time Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA) to join an interdisciplinary team.

About the role

Providers are responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.

Responsibilities

• Perform required procedures including suturing and splinting
• DOT certification
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• One year of PA work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting
• NC licensure or ability to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
