Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP) Multiple Locations

About the Role

UNC Health Medical Group (UNCHMG) Urgent Care clinics, located in the Triangle of North Carolina, are seeking full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners (NP) for multiple locations. Providers will be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries
• Provide occupational health services and exams
• Perform procedures including suturing and splinting
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of NP work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting
• NC licensure or ability to obtain
• DOT Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to establish rapport with patients
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday, including weekends and holidays. Flexible, full-time schedule available.

Multiple locations in the Triangle area of North Carolina.
