Desert Valley Medical Group in Victorville, California is looking for an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Perform per‑diem shifts in Victorville, CA
- Work within a hospital‑owned, multi‑specialty medical group providing urgent care services
- Open to full‑time, part‑time, and per‑diem schedules; new graduates welcome
- Up to 15 shifts per month, 12‑hour shifts
Qualifications
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certification as an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pulmonary medicine, critical care, hospital medicine, or another inpatient specialty (preferred) OR more than 5 years of high‑acuity critical care nursing experience
- Applicants with less than two years of relevant NP experience are eligible for the Transition‑to‑Practice Program
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision‑making skills
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork
- Ability to effectively manage medically complex patients
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Pay
Compensation estimate: $65‑$80 per hour based on experience; exact starting compensation determined at hire based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Schedule
Per‑diem position with variable shift scheduling.
