URBN Warehouse Clerk (Nights)

Role Summary

This position is located at 11681 State Ave, Kansas City, Kansas, 66111 United States. The role involves assisting the Leadership Team in the day-to-day operations of the department, monitoring productivity, and communicating necessary adjustments in departmental processes. You will also be flexible in completing projects and navigating changing business priorities, providing clear and concise directions to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are maintained and goals are met. You will perform department-specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager and work with all organizational levels including fellow employees, customers, and management.

Role Responsibilities

• Aid the Leadership Team with day-to-day functions in assigned department
• Maintain productivity and communicate adjustments in departmental processes
• Be flexible in completing projects and navigating changing business priorities
• Provide clear and concise directions to ensure SLAs are maintained and goals are met
• Maintain high-level, proactive communication utilizing radios and emails
• Perform department-specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
• Work with all organizational levels including fellow employees, customers, and management

Role Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• A high school degree or GED is required
• Professional written and verbal communication skills are needed
• Problem-solving and reporting skills are essential
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is required
• Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for considerable distance throughout a shift
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
• Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts)
• Requires coordinated movements

Pay Range

Starting from USD $17.75/Hr.
