Urban Designer

About the role

Urban Designer with 1-5 years of experience seeking a position at Tryba Architects, a Denver-based multidisciplinary design firm.

Responsibilities

• Strong design sense and technical proficiency
• Previous experience working on urban development projects, including design and collateral for project visioning; site planning and programming; urban design guidelines; interface with city agencies and understanding of planning/entitlement processes
• Excellent communication skills – collaborating directly with firm’s principals and staff during all phases of design and drawing production
• Motivated to develop personal and professional relationships with the firm’s principals and staff allowing for open interaction, honest dialogue, and productive feedback

Qualifications

• Graduate or professional degree from an accredited school of Architecture or Urban Design
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Multi-tasking/time management skills: the ability to work on several projects at the same time in a production role
• Strong design, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite
