About the role

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for assisting with market research, customer validation, and developing value propositions. They also support the development of training materials and business cases, and interface with engineering teams on new product development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the marketplace, including practice trends, regulatory issues, and competitive activity.
  • Absorb and analyze competitive offerings.
  • Support customer validation and evaluation of proposed solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of value propositions and relevant content for product launches.
  • Create and deliver training materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on new product development and improvements.
  • Identify and document product and market needs for cross-functional teams.
  • Create and present business cases to company leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Engineering field of study.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience in medical technology development desired.
  • Specific experience in the veterinary field desired.

Qualifications

  • Ability to conduct and synthesize customer research to extract key takeaways.
  • Strong advocacy for customers throughout the idea generation, development, and commercialization processes.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve corporate goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present formal presentations.
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skills.
  • Technical competency (software, computer, engineering).
