About the role

The Upper Elementary After School Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the after school program, ensuring that all students are engaged in educational and recreational activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the after school program
• Ensure all students are engaged in educational and recreational activities
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement programs
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child’s progress and involvement in the program

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• At least 2 years of experience working with children in an educational setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience with program planning and implementation
• Knowledge of child development and learning theories
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
