Upcoming Online Special Stray Vacancy Round for Medical and Dental Course...

An online special stray vacancy round for admissions to available MBBS and BDS seats will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), starting November 7.

About the round

Any medical and dental seats left unoccupied after the final round of seat allocation will be included in this special stray vacancy round.

Medical admissions (MBBS)

• Payment via Demand Draft (DD) for the required fee to KEA: 10 a.m. on November 7 until 2 p.m. on November 8.
• Option to enter preferences available only after DD submission.
• Option entry period ends at 9 a.m. on November 9.
• Results disclosed after 4 p.m. on November 9.
• Candidates not allocated seats can obtain the DD on the same day.
• Allotted candidates must generate their admission order on November 9 and report to the designated college by 5 p.m. on November 10.

Dental admissions (BDS)

• Special stray vacancy round takes place on November 10.
• Candidates who have not been allotted any medical or dental seats can participate with a DD drawn in favor of Executive Director, KEA, payable at Bengaluru.
• Candidates must bring their verification slip and all original documents for counseling.
• Personal visit to KEA required by 10 a.m. on November 11 with the DD for the registration fees specified on the website.
• Option entry link activated by 10:30 a.m. on November 11, open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Results announced at 3:30 p.m. on November 11.
