About the role

Greene Resources is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join a growing and dynamic team. This position is responsible for leading project teams in the construction of projects, ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, safety, and customer satisfaction objectives are met. This individual will plan, organize, and control all resources (people and materials) for the successful execution of a project.

Responsibilities

  • Review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
  • Manage the financial aspects of contracts.
  • Monitor and report project cost and schedule performance; recommend corrective actions if needed.
  • Ensure preparation of cost estimates, value engineering, constructability reviews, scope development, and project bidding procedures.
  • Assist the Project Manager with problem of conflict resolution.
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required; prepare project reports for management, owners, or others.
  • Manage the scope of work and contract documents.
  • Identify and resolve potential claims with subcontractors/suppliers.
  • Lead project coordination meetings.
  • Handle monthly reviews with the project team and submit the Monthly Project Review Form to the Vice President and Executive Vice President.
  • Ensure adherence to insurance, safety, and labor relations regulations.
  • Lead QA/QC implementation; monitor and ensure quality control.
  • Document best practices to share with other projects; ensure best construction methods are being used.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel if required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take leadership roles both internally and externally within the organization.
  • Understand the roles in sales, marketing, and interviews.
  • Ability to foster team camaraderie; mentor project personnel; ensure each person understands their role on the project.
  • Previous leadership and project management experience.

Pay

$90,000 to $110,000/year
