Job Description

The University of Louisville Physicians is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join their eastern outpatient practice in Shelbyville, KY.

About the Role

This position involves providing assessment, management, and outcome evaluation for patients in outpatient settings. The physician will also educate patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in outpatient settings
• Educate patients, families, and staff about their health conditions and treatment options
• Participate in ongoing professional development through CME and other educational opportunities
• Collaborate with a team of hospital medicine providers to ensure all inpatient needs are met

Requirements

• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Current Medical License in Kentucky
• Experience in outpatient family medicine or internal medicine preferred

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for patient-centered care and community service

Base salary is commensurate with experience.
