About the role

The high-achieving secondary school in the London Borough of Enfield is rated Good by Ofsted and is recognized for its rigorous Mathematics curriculum, strong academic culture, and genuine commitment to developing talent at every level.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 under the guidance of qualified colleagues
  • Planning and adapting lesson content to meet the needs of a diverse and mathematically curious pupil cohort
  • S supporting pupils through targeted small-group work and intervention to build confidence and close gaps
  • Contributing to departmental enrichment activities including Maths challenges and UKMT preparation
  • Developing subject leadership skills with a clear view towards progressing into formal teacher training

Requirements

  • Hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university in Mathematics or a closely related numerate discipline
  • Previous child-centred experience in a UK educational setting is highly valued

Qualifications

  • The school is seeking a confident, driven, and mathematically strong Unqualified Maths Teacher with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for the subject
