About the role
Talking Tree (talkingtree.app) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit making legal support accessible for startups, small businesses, and first-time founders. We provide lawyer-built AI tools, contract templates, and plain-english legal education—because legal help shouldn’t be reserved for those who can afford expensive law firms or pricey software.
Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with entrepreneurship programs, incubators, and startup communities at your university or local schools
- Share Talking Tree’s mission, tools, and resources with students, founders, and startup mentors
- Help onboard student founders who need legal templates, AI tools, or educational materials
- Share feedback from students and programs to help us improve our offerings
- Promote Talking Tree at events, workshops, or startup competitions where appropriate
Requirements
- Current student or recent alum involved in entrepreneurship, law, business, or campus leadership
- Connected with entrepreneurship clubs, startup centers, or university incubators
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Passionate about startups, small business, legal access, and making an impact
Qualifications
- Flexible time commitment typically 2-4 hours per week, but may vary depending on events or opportunities
