University Recruiter
About the role
The University Recruiter plays a central role in identifying and converting the next generation of talent for Snowflake. This role focuses on intern and recent graduate hiring across the US and Canada, and involves running a year-round intern program.
Responsibilities
- Own the full recruiting cycle for intern and recent graduate candidates across US and Canada, ensuring a consistent and high-quality candidate experience at every stage
- Partner with hiring managers and business stakeholders to deeply understand role scope, team needs, and hiring goals
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with university faculty, career centers, and student organizations to grow a strong pipeline of early-career talent
- Develop and implement school-specific recruiting strategies and campus outreach plans in collaboration with hiring teams
- Plan and execute on-campus events and career fairs, including traveling to partner universities across the US and Canada
- Screens candidates and maintains process consistency and inclusivity throughout each hiring pipeline
- Maintain accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline reports to keep stakeholders informed
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on technical roles or early-career talent
- 3+ years of university recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute a strategic campus recruiting program while managing an active pipeline
- Strong track record in candidate sourcing, talent mapping, offer negotiation, and influencing hiring decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build trust with candidates and stakeholders alike
- Willingness to travel to universities seasonally for campus events
- Comfort using AI tools in your day-to-day work — whether for sourcing, outreach, scheduling, or research — or a genuine eagerness to learn and lean into AI as a core part of how you work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Skills
- Experience recruiting at scale for a high-growth technology company
- Familiarity with Ashby or similar modern ATS platforms
- Background in diversity recruiting or building DEI-focused campus programs
- Experience hosting or producing intern programming (events, speaker series, professional development)
