University of Rochester Seeking Gastroenterology - Physician Assistant

University of Rochester's affiliate, Noyes Memorial Hospital, is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Physician Assistant to join our expanding team in Dansville, New York. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply; new graduates with a strong interest in GI may also be considered.

About the role

This outpatient clinic-based opportunity includes potential participation in OR time and first-assist duties with the GI Physician (not required). No call, nights, or weekends. Clinic locations include UR Medicine Noyes Memorial Hospital (Dansville, NY) and Noyes Health Ambulatory Surgery Center (Geneseo, NY).

Our GI Advanced Practice Providers work alongside MD partners, supported by University of Rochester Faculty programs including Emergency Medicine, Hospitalists/Nocturnists, Pulmonary-Critical Care, Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, and other medical and surgical subspecialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic-based care in gastroenterology
• Potential to participate in OR time and first-assist duties with GI Physician (optional)

Requirements

• Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of experience (new graduates with strong GI interest may be considered)
• Active license to practice in New York State

Pay

Guaranteed annual salary of $105,000 - $135,000, adjusted for experience. Includes retention bonus, relocation stipend, and professional dues (CME, license, etc.).

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, day shift
• No nights, no weekends, no call requirements
