About the role

The University Controller will assists the CFO and Treasurer in providing broad leadership over the University's Technical Accounting and Taxation processes and functions, and in providing collaborative leadership over the monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Reporting and Tax compliance and reporting functions of the University.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively leads in the coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as associated financial reports for the Board of Trustees while overseeing the broad accounting functions of the University.
• Monitors and maintains expertise in new laws and regulations relating to FASB pronouncements and IRS regulations impacting the University to ensure compliance in all areas.
