About the Role
As a Summer Games Data Scientist Intern, you'll work on projects that address complex, multidimensional problems faced by our clients. Your role involves data exploration, cleaning, analysis, and visualization, contributing to solutions that could impact significant areas such as accessibility, security, and public health.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply statistical and programming techniques to analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that can be scaled and implemented.
Requirements
- Experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
- Knowledge of statistical and general-purpose programming languages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Winter or Spring 2027, or Winter or Spring 2028.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Skills
- Data analysis and manipulation.
- Statistical modeling and machine learning.
- Programming in Python, R, SQL, or similar languages.
- Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.

Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role.
Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
