Universal Worker I (Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)) - Part Time - Day - Eventide GracePointe Senior Living

Essential Functions

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Affords assistance with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Fulfills department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/ overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
• Enforces the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual Senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by ensuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
• Implements activities for the Seniors/clients.
• Prepares, plates and serves meals, snacks and other foods requested by/for/to Senior/client.
• Affords assistance with cleanup of the dining room and is responsible for housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language including medical terminology related to the job.
• Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job.
• Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction).
• Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 50 - pounds, demonstrating strength and agility at Eventide’s discretion.
• At least age 16.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Credentials: CNA certification in good standing as demonstrated by inclusion on the Nebraska State Registry required. MA-40 certification preferred. If utilizing MA-40 certification, CPR is required. All certifications must be kept up to date at the expense of the employee.
• Must meet Eventide’s vaccination requirements.

Pay

Compensation at Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $16-17.92 per hour for Universal Worker I's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
