Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA I)

About the role

St. Mark Village is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA I) to join our compassionate team. This position offers competitive pay starting at $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, plus a shift differential of $1.00 - $1.75 depending on shift. The schedule includes various part-time shifts, including 3p-11p.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily needs, including answering call lights, bathing, dressing, and ambulation
• Support charge nurses by taking vital signs, repositioning bedfast residents, and assisting with treatments and examinations
• Help manage meals by escorting residents to the dining area or delivering meals to their rooms
• Maintain resident safety and follow infection control protocols

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Active Florida CNA Certification
• Active CPR Certification (preferred)
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, visitors, and other team members
• Applicants must be able to produce a negative drug test

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of infection control procedures
