UNIVERSAL PRE-K TEACHER AIDE

Probationary appointment for the 2026-2027 school year.

Schedule

8:15 am – 3:15 pm

Responsibilities

• Provides universal prekindergarten classroom-level support.
• Assists the classroom teacher throughout the day.
• Works with students to help build independence.
• Prepares materials for instruction.
• Works with students on behavioral and management needs.
• Provides a stable environment during transitions.
• Supervises children during instruction, meals, recess, arrival, dismissal, etc.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with children.

Wayne County residence is not required.
