Responsibilities
- Model Q2 Service and Sales programs with creativity and energy to achieve goals and meet or exceed quality standards.
- Take personal initiative and serve as a positive example for others.
- Build customer relationships by representing QNB courteously, confidentially, and professionally, providing prompt and accurate service in processing transactions through consultative selling and cross-selling.
- Evaluate customer needs using open-ended questions and refer customers to appropriate resources.
- Open, close, and service all types of deposit products, including processing loans.
- Perform branch functions requiring in-depth knowledge of transactions, such as paying and receiving, balancing cash drawers or Teller Cash Recycler (TCR), ATM operations, vault settlement, and daily office settlement.
- Assist in training personnel and may participate in committees (e.g., Safety Committee).
- Prepare and manage branch cash and settlement processes.
- Engage with others beyond basic instructions to foster teamwork.
- Support the community through involvement in local volunteer or charitable organizations.
- Complete assigned compliance training in a timely manner and apply training to job duties.
- Available during all operating branch hours, including holidays and weekends.
- Assume additional job-related duties as requested.
Requirements
- Proficient in all aspects of the job.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Complete Universal Banker Certification Checklist.
- Strong interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively with internal and external customers.
- Ability to motivate team members in all aspects of QNB’s Service Excellence.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 25-30-pound coin bags.
- Communication skills that model QNB’s sales efforts, including identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future needs.
- Strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills; some college coursework preferred but not required.
- Adhere to government regulations, QNB policy, and established procedures for compliance in operations and security.
- Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations; ongoing employment contingent upon acceptable background investigation results.
- Annual re-certification of Universal Banker I requirements.
- PA Notary certification.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently without supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of Banking Fundamentals and Consumer Lending.
- Strong product knowledge and active participation in Q2 Sales and Service, referrals, and product campaigns.
