About the Role
Partners Bank is seeking a Universal Banker, a seasoned financial professional with a diverse skill set, adept at seamlessly managing a broad spectrum of tasks within the banking realm. This dynamic role encompasses the responsibilities of an ASR, Loan Assistant, and Branch Lead as circumstances dictate, integrating both customer service finesse and transactional precision.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service by answering customer questions, investigating and correcting errors, and resolving problems or other issues.
- Offer solutions to meet customer needs.
- Process daily bank transactions, including:
- Accepting and processing retail and commercial checking and savings deposits, including night deposits, ensuring all necessary documents are in proper form and issuing receipts.
- Confirming all necessary documents are properly authorized, in proper form, and within authorized limits.
- Making decisions on questionable items presented for cashing, including placing holds on accounts to identify uncollected funds.
- Preparing daily totals and corresponding tickets for batch transactions (e.g., ATM settlement, cash advances, money orders, TT&L payments).
- Assembling and preparing all transactions for delivery to the Deposit Operations Department within an established schedule.
- Balance transactions and verify cash totals:
- Monitoring and maintaining an adequate supply of currency and coins.
- Balancing cash drawer according to established schedule and performance standards.
- Selling excess coin and currency to the vault or buying coin and currency to maintain minimum but adequate drawer supply.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- At least three (3) years of related experience and/or training is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
