General Duties And Responsibilities
- Models Q2 Service and Sales programs with creativity and energy to achieve goals and exceed quality standards.
- Takes personal initiative and serves as a positive role model for others.
- Buys customer relationships by representing QNB courteously, confidentially, and professionally, and by providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service through consultative selling and cross-selling.
- Evaluates customer needs using open-ended questions and refers customers to the appropriate resources.
- Opens, closes, and services all types of deposit products, capable of taking and disbursing loans.
- Performs branch functions requiring in-depth knowledge of branch transactions, including balancing cash drawer and/or TCR at the end of the day, ATM, Vault Settlement, and ensuring daily office settlement.
- Aids in the training of personnel and may serve on committees like the Safety Committee, training personnel on information from committee meetings.
- Aids in processes and prepares branch cash and settlement.
- Able to relate to others beyond just giving and receiving instructions. Supports the community through involvement and participation in local volunteer and/or charitable organizations.
- Completes assigned compliance training in a timely manner and applies training to duties and responsibilities.
- Required availability of all operating branch hours, including holidays and weekends.
- Assumes additional job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Proficient in all aspects of the job.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Complete Universal Banker Certification Checklist and fulfill re-certification requirements annually.
- Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively when dealing with both internal and external customers.
- Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time - all day if necessary.
- Recommended for promotion by supervisor or SVP/CBO or EVP/CRO&CBBO.
- Successfully motivates team members in all aspects of QNB's Service Excellence.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 25-30-pound coin bags.
- Strong communication skills that model QNB's sales efforts; includes the ability to identify and fulfill customers' current and future needs.
- Requires strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent (completion of some college courses preferred but not required).
- Fulfills QNB compliance in operations and security procedures by adhering to government regulations, QNB policy, and established procedures.
- Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.
- If required, PA Notary as needed by the Branch (To be determined by Branch Manager).
- If required, PA Notary must be maintained by completing renewal package prior to Notary Expiration.
- Ability to solve problems and carry on without supervision.
Preferred Training, Experience And Education
- Successful completion of Banking Fundamentals and Consumer Lending.
- Other courses may be permitted per discretion of EVP/CRO/CBBO and SVP/CBO.
- Must have strong product knowledge and actively champion and coach for Q2 Sales and Service, referrals, and product campaigns.
