Universal Banker (Multi-site) - Victor & Farmington Branches

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday - Saturday with one weekday off for working Saturday. Branch hours are:

• Monday, Thursday & Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

Location

This role requires travel between the Victor and Farmington branches.

Purpose of Position

This position is responsible for processing customer transactions efficiently in a branch environment while providing recommendations to help customers identify the right financial solutions. The role aims to build long-term relationships, achieve business objectives, and increase awareness of ESL’s self-service and digital offerings.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive in-person experience for members.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with members.
• Work in either a Teller or Relationship Banker role based on branch needs.
• Assist members with financial transactions, including payments, deposits, and withdrawals.
• Help members identify and obtain appropriate financial solutions.
• Educate members and refer products and services.
• Assist with accounts, loans, and account maintenance.
• Learn about the banking and finance industry.
• Gain exposure to career opportunities at ESL.

Requirements

• One year of sales or service experience in financial services or a comparable industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
• High degree of flexibility to support branch needs.
• Proficient in building customer and peer relationships.
• Proficient in PC applications.
• Understanding of banking products and services preferred.
• Notary certification preferred; if not obtained, must acquire within 12 months of hire.
• Must complete application and fingerprinting for the NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System) and be registered as an MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator) through ESL.
• Demonstrates alignment with ESL’s Core Values, mission, vision, and purpose.

Pay

$22.02 per hour. Eligible employees may also receive an annual performance-based incentive.
