Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Oversees branch operations, including cash handling, control of negotiable items, preventing fraud, managing controllable expenses, promoting integrity, member privacy, and employee safety.
- Executes appropriate behaviors consistent with Align CU's values and member service standards to deliver exceptional member experiences.
- Connects with members to deepen relationships through needs-based conversations.
- Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of credit union's products & services and recommends appropriate solutions to meet members' needs.
- Consults with or makes referrals to product specialists as needed.
- Manages branch operations such as audits, cash settlements, ATMs, cash recyclers, coin machines, vaults, and branch monthly reporting.
- Coaches and mentors branch staff to achieve goals and develop their abilities and potential; provides ongoing training and motivation to the team.
- Completes all member requests including account opening, personal, automobile, and equity loan applications and closings, mortgage applications, servicing requests, issuing and maintaining debit cards, and routine banking transactions.

- Supervises teller balancing and ensures all cash is accounted for and team adheres to Employee Accuracy policy.
- Verifies cash drawers when necessary and corrects teller errors.
- Orders, verifies, and distributes cash shipments.
- Ensures all security equipment is in proper working order and supervises its use.
- Opens and closes the branch as MOD and ensures security systems are set properly.
- Responds to alarms as required and administers supervisor overrides for restricted transactions appropriately and within assigned limits.
- Continuously increases knowledge and skills through self-motivation, formal education, seminars, and in-house training.
- Adheres to Align CU's policies and procedures and complies with relevant regulations.
- Achieves all assigned member service and sales goals.
- Become and maintain status as a Notary Public.
- Supports Branch Manager with coaching and training branch employees and new hires.
- Participates in assigned projects or committees within the credit union.
- Places and logs service calls for transactional equipment and initiates tickets with IT to report system issues.
- Oversees reentry of items as needed.
Pay
The expected base pay rate offered for this role is $24.00 - $31.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
