Universal Banker II - Woodmar

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Universal Banker II at our Woodmar Banking Center.

Responsibilities

• Processes all teller line transactions at a proficient level including accepting deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, cashing checks, issuing official checks, and potentially including providing overrides and approvals.
• Counts and balances the cash drawer daily, taking proactive steps to identify and resolve discrepancies when the balance is off.
• Fulfills BSA/AML/OFAC policies and/or procedures to report any suspicious activity.
• Maintains integrity, including keeping all Bank business and information confidential.
• Opens new accounts for customers accurately and efficiently.
• Handles more complex customer inquiries and requests.
• Demonstrates strong sales skills and routinely seeks to refer additional products when appropriate, documenting referrals in Salesforce.
• Moves seamlessly through the banking center acting in a variety of roles as necessary.
• Adapts easily to meet all needs.
• Participates in Bank and Team activities.
• May seek additional responsibilities such as internal committee involvement or corporate initiatives.
• May serve as backup to manager in their absence.
• Possesses the ability to effectively mentor others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail banking experience required.
• Six months of new account experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Must have a smartphone (iOS or Android) that supports the Bank's IT security guidelines.
