Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by being well-versed in teller work and new accounts as well as handling transactions pertaining to loans, collections and/or exchanges. Serves as a new account representative and teller interchangeably on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Handles customer transactional needs such as processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing requests, credit card advances, money orders, and other forms of negotiable items.
- Proofs work through branch capture machine to include reviewing work and making corrections.
- Opens various new depository account products and services.
- Works with customers to update existing deposit accounts.
- Maintains a well-developed, working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered.
- Accurately utilizes equipment and remains knowledgeable of equipment functionality to perform role.
- Completes documents for special requests such as direct deposit, wire transfers, stop payments, etc.
- May provide assistance to lenders by pulling credit bureau checks, flood determinations, OFAC/Combined report from Horizon, and creating customer profiles for new banking relationships within Horizon.

- Ability to use multiple computer systems and applications.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good credit is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teller and cash handling experience.
- Previous new account opening experience.
- Knowledge of Community First Bank’s products, services, and policies.
- Knowledge of daily branch, vault, and ATM operations.
- Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues as appropriate.
Physical Demands
- Standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 lbs.
Travel
Some travel may be necessary as the need arises.
