About the role
Potomac Bank is seeking a Universal Banker I who can provide exceptional customer service, manage a variety of transactions, and build lasting relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Interact with the public and resolve their questions or problems.
- Deal with bank products and services, and refer suitable products to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
- Manage cash drawers, count and balance currency, and process various transactions.
- Open and maintain consumer checking and savings accounts.
- Complete domestic wire forms and issue cashier’s checks and money orders.
- Operate standard office equipment and follow bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain a secure work area and adhere to bank security protocols.
- Multi-task under pressure and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of prior customer service experience.
- Outgoing personality with service-oriented traits.
- Basic to advanced computer skills.
- Knowledge of bank operations and customer service principles.
- Ability to adhere to Potomac Bank's Core Values.
- Basic skills in operating office equipment and reading/writing documents.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
