About the role

Potomac Bank is seeking a Universal Banker I who can provide exceptional customer service, manage a variety of transactions, and build lasting relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the public and resolve their questions or problems.
• Deal with bank products and services, and refer suitable products to customers.
• Handle customer complaints and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
• Manage cash drawers, count and balance currency, and process various transactions.
• Open and maintain consumer checking and savings accounts.
• Complete domestic wire forms and issue cashier’s checks and money orders.
• Operate standard office equipment and follow bank policies and procedures.
• Maintain a secure work area and adhere to bank security protocols.
• Multi-task under pressure and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of prior customer service experience.
• Outgoing personality with service-oriented traits.
• Basic to advanced computer skills.
• Knowledge of bank operations and customer service principles.
• Ability to adhere to Potomac Bank's Core Values.
• Basic skills in operating office equipment and reading/writing documents.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
