Universal Banker - Float - Eastern PA
Regular, full-time position. Fluency in English required. Work shift: 1st shift (United States of America).
About the role
Float Universal Bankers will travel to multiple branches as assigned by the Area Leader and/or Branch Leader. This role involves providing timely and efficient client transactions while maintaining accurate records and handling all monies assigned. Bankers deliver superior quality service, identifying and understanding clients' financial needs, and are cross-trained to support sales and service activities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courtesy, facilitating conversation, and conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs.
- Perform complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
- Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
- Support the team by making client servicing calls, presenting client offers, identifying needs, and referring clients to appropriate branch team members or specialists.
- Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
- Complete applicable training classes and web-based learning to advance knowledge and better serve clients.
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of all policy and procedure changes.
- Serve as a point of contact for account maintenance, problem resolution, identifying solutions, and referring clients to appropriate teammates.
Float Universal Bankers will be assigned to a home branch but scheduled to support multiple branches within their designated coverage area. Schedules will be provided in advance but may change based on staffing needs. Direction will be provided by the Branch Leader of the location worked on any given day/week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Proven and consistent proficiency in teller or cash handling or client service skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
- Ability to use office equipment and perform basic mathematical functions.
- Willing and able to follow written and verbal instructions and work under established guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent client service and provide team support.
- Availability to work Saturdays and/or extended hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to uncover referral opportunities.
- Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
- General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
