Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with a warm and friendly smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Provide service to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account inquiries.
  • Handle large sums of cash and maintain assigned limits; cash settlement.
  • Supervise responsibilities in support of branch leadership and goals.
  • Educate customers on our wide range of banking products and services.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, offering personalized solutions.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services to maximize customer satisfaction and contribute to growth.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge, attending training sessions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless integration of services.
  • Adhere to banking regulations and compliance standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to the overall team performance through continuous improvement.
  • Proactively resolve customer issues, meeting and exceeding customers' needs and expectations.
  • Expand the customer base through consultative sales techniques.
  • Sell consumer credit products with an NMLS license, understanding the basic features and benefits of all Firstrust products and services.
  • Report teller differences daily.
  • Assist Universal Supervisor, verify cash shipments, conduct teller, vault, and ATM audits as needed.
  • Comply with all opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional education in finance or related field a plus.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a banking or retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using banking software and technology, with a high level of accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent judgment, decision, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, use tact and diplomacy.
  • Positive attitude, with a genuine passion for helping others and providing exceptional customer service.
