About the role

This position involves providing sales, service, and operational support in a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with teller transactions (deposits, currency handling, check cashing) and platform services (opening accounts, deposit products).
• Identify client needs through consultative conversations; recommend suitable products and services.
• Open and process new demand and time deposit accounts, including savings, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.
• Cross-sell products and refer clients to partners to grow business and deepen relationships.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, supporting deposit and loan campaigns.
• Support loan applications for personal needs, coordinating with relevant associates.
• Research and resolve client inquiries, ensuring excellent customer experiences.
• Attend training to improve product knowledge and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and internal controls.
• Assist with daily operations, audit controls, and training new associates.
• Stay informed on operational updates and maintain adherence to guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of teller experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with the flexibility to substitute education and experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with 10‑key calculator.
• Proficiency with coin counters.

Requirements

No supervisory responsibilities. Employment requires passing background and credit checks, compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act, and related regulations. Notably, certification/licenses are not required. Ongoing employment depends on meeting these requirements.
