Responsibilities

• Consumer Lending: Manage the entire consumer loan process from initiation through closing, including interviewing loan applicants, determining eligibility, reviewing applications for accuracy, and providing timely disclosures while complying with lending policies. Operate with moderate credit authority.
• Member Servicing:
  • Greet and welcome members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service.
  • Open consumer and business accounts according to credit union policies.
  • Promote credit union products and services based on member needs.
  • Perform account transactions and maintenance, including processing share deposit payments, loan payments, CD transactions, lines of credit advances, and account transfers.
  • Disburse cash and check withdrawals, count cash, and perform reconciliations.
  • Add joint owners, complete address changes, and perform other necessary teller functions.
• Cash Handling and Balancing:
  • Open, close, and balance the cash drawer daily.
  • Maintain drawer cash levels within prescribed amounts.
  • Handle Vault Teller responsibilities, managing and balancing cash flow in and out of the vault.
  • Balance ATM daily as part of a dual control team.

Requirements

• Spanish fluency (verbal and written) preferred.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in banking or exposure to consumer lending.
• Ability to form and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• May be required to travel to cover other branches.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

Hourly range: $26.25 - $29.66 - $35.62
