Universal Banker
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members warmly and provide excellent service in-person, via phone, and through digital channels.
- Process routine teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Open and maintain member accounts including checking, savings, certificates, and IRAs.
- Aid members with online banking, mobile apps, and ATM-related inquiries.
- Identify member needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services.
- Originate and fund consumer loan applications.
- Resolve member issues or escalate concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain required cash limits and documentation.
- Participate in branch and team meetings, training sessions, and community engagement activities.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- One to two years of customer service or banking experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and explain financial products clearly and confidently.
- Proficiency with computer systems and comfort using banking technology.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and integrity.
- Flexibility to work branch hours including occasional Saturdays.

Pay
