Job Summary
Universal Bankers are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while building and maintaining customer relationships at the bank branch. This role supports a variety of banking functions including transactional services, account opening, consumer lending support, digital banking education, and identifying customer financial needs. Level placement is based on experience, knowledge, and demonstrated banking expertise. Each level builds upon responsibilities, knowledge, and expectations of the preceding level. Employees are expected to continue performing the primary responsibilities associated with lower levels while taking on the additional responsibilities outline for their assigned level.
Responsibilities
- Open new consumer deposit accounts and accurately process all deposit account paperwork for new and existing customer accounts
- Assist existing customers with account changes or inquiries, or any issues or questions they may encounter with their online products/services
- Proactively promote and identify cross-selling opportunities to achieve individual, team and organizational sales and service goals
- Provide referrals and other opportunities to other business lines (Insurance, Mortgage, etc.)
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1 year
