About the role

This position provides both teller and platform support to minimize client wait times and deliver quality customer service. You will perform financial transactions, open deposit accounts, identify client needs, and make product recommendations to deepen relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily financial transactions including deposits, currency handling, coin counting, and check cashing.
• Open and process new demand and time deposit accounts such as checking, savings, IRAs, certificates of deposit, and money market accounts.
• Identify client needs through consultative conversations and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Cross-sell and refer clients to bank partners to generate new business and strengthen existing relationships.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, including participation in special deposit/loan campaigns.
• Assist clients with loan applications for personal/retail consumer needs and facilitate handoffs to appropriate associates.
• Research and resolve client problems, respond to account status inquiries, and deliver excellent client experiences.
• Enhance product knowledge through training, meetings, and web-based learning to better serve clients.
• Ensure compliance with bank regulations, policies, procedures, risk management, internal controls, and the First Horizon code of ethics.
• Assist with daily banking center operations, audit controls, and training of new associates.
• Stay informed of operational updates and changes to maintain compliance with current guidelines.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year of teller experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, 10-key calculator, and coin counter.
• Must pass a background credit check and comply with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
