About the role

Financial Services Consultants are responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience, building and deepening relationships, and helping consumer and small business members succeed financially. The successful candidate will engage members in conversation, ask questions to understand their priorities, and determine which products, services, or digital options align with their needs—making banking easier while improving their overall well-being.

This position will also involve opening new accounts, enrolling members in digital solutions during initial consultations, processing applications, resolving complex member issues, and following up to ensure satisfaction and enhance financial well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional member experience through personalized service.
• Build and deepen relationships with consumer and small business members.
• Engage members in conversation to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable products, services, or digital solutions.
• Open new accounts and enroll members in digital banking options.
• Process applications and resolve complex member issues.
• Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and improve their financial well-being.
• Stay technologically savvy, particularly with self-service options, and keep abreast of evolving consumer needs and trends.
• Adapt to new or non-traditional environments and demonstrate a commitment to the community, member engagement, and Affinity’s corporate objectives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of banking experience in a platform role.
• Prior CRM experience, preferably Salesforce, is desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous sales experience is essential.
• Technological proficiency, especially with self-service banking options.

Pay

The starting salary range for this role is $57,000–$60,000. The final wage or salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on factors such as years of relevant experience, industry experience, and education.
