Responsibilities
- Model Q2 Service and Sales programs with creativity and energy to achieve goals and meet or exceed quality standards.
- Take personal initiative and serve as a positive example for others.
- Build customer relationships by representing QNB courteously, professionally, and confidentially, providing prompt and efficient service.
- Engage in consultative selling and cross-selling to meet customer needs.
- Evaluate customer needs using open-ended questions and refer them to appropriate resources.
- Open, close, and service all types of deposit products, including processing loans.
- Perform branch functions requiring in-depth knowledge of transactions, such as:
- Paying and receiving Financial Service Representative functions.
- Accurately balancing cash drawer or Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) at the end of the day.
- ATM, Vault Settlement, and daily office settlement.
- Assist in training personnel and participate in committees (e.g., Safety Committee).
- Prepare branch cash and settlement processes.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills beyond basic instructions.
- Support the community through involvement in local volunteer or charitable organizations.
- Complete assigned compliance training in a timely manner and apply it to duties.
- Be available during all operating branch hours, including holidays and weekends.
- Assume additional job-related duties as requested.
Requirements
- Proficiency in all aspects of the job.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Complete Universal Banker Certification Checklist and fulfill annual re-certification requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively with internal and external customers.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, including all-day if necessary.
- Demonstrated success in motivating team members in QNB's Service Excellence.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 25-30-pound coin bags.
- Communication skills that model QNB's sales efforts, including identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future needs.
- Strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent (some college courses preferred but not required).
- Adhere to QNB compliance in operations and security procedures, including government regulations and QNB policy.
- Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations; ongoing employment contingent on meeting these requirements and acceptable background investigation results.
- PA Notary certification as needed by the Branch (determined by Branch Manager). If required, maintain PA Notary status by completing renewal prior to expiration.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently without supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of Banking Fundamentals and Consumer Lending.
- Strong product knowledge and active participation in Q2 Sales and Service, referrals, and product campaigns.
