About the role

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is searching for a board-certified (or eligible) pediatric endocrinologist to join our well-established team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical care of pediatric patients with endocrine disorders.
• Contribute to clinical research trials.
• Train the next generation of young physicians through the Pediatric Residency Program.
• Work in a diverse and dynamic environment at the premier tertiary referral center and academic teaching hospital in South Carolina.

• Board certified or board eligible.

Qualifications

• Ability to push/pull objects, up to 15 lbs., unassisted.
• Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.
• Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand.
• Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance.
• Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
• Good peripheral vision capabilities.
• Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction.
• Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements.
