About the role

The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to work full-time for its Midlands Division that includes the communities in and surrounding Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of general and advanced IR procedures.

Requirements

  • BE/BC certification required.

Qualifications

Candidate should have completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology and be eligible for board certification in Radiology.

Schedule

  • Ability to push/pull objects, up to 15 lbs., unassisted (Infrequent).
  • Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes (Continuous).
  • Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand (Frequent).
  • Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance (Frequent).
  • Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception (Continuous).
  • Good peripheral vision capabilities (Continuous).
  • Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction (Continuous).
  • Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements (Frequent).
