Unitizer Operator 3rd Shift

About the role

Join Pratt, a company in Beloit that is growing! This position is for a Unitizer Operator 3rd shift at Pratt (Beloit Corrugating), LLC located at 1405 Gateway Blvd, Beloit, WI.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to stack, band, and wrap finished products into stable units for shipping.
• Setup, operate, and clean up the unitizer and related equipment.
• Handle, reach, and feel with hands and arms as part of the stacking process.
• Lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance when necessary.
• Regularly stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to handle and feel objects.
• Occasionally sit while working.
• Regularly exposed to wet, hot, and/or humid conditions, and moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Read and apply concepts of high school math.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with similar machinery preferred.
• Physical ability to perform the duties listed above.

Skills

• Strong hand-eye coordination.
• Good physical stamina.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$17.60/hour starting pay, eligible for increases after 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.
