Unit Technician - Monitor/VCM

About the role

Assist with patient care in a healthcare setting under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed professionals. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient safety and provide continuous surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret patient heart rhythms, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
• Perform ECGs and splinting
• Support emergency responses, including activating medical emergency plans
• Assist with additional duties such as emergency procedures and supporting patient care activities

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of nursing assistant training or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge
• Effective communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• BLS certification (obtained during orientation)

Pay

$19.92 to $27.33 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, including evening/night shifts with every other weekend and holiday work.
