Unit Support Coordinator, Day Shift, Behavioral Health

About the role

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for our Behavioral Health Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities

• Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment
• Maintain data and related records
• Perform clerical and other support services as directed
• Process physician orders
• Handle communication and other general duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficient in PC, Internet and email
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred

Schedule

Employment Type: Full-time
Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
Typical Daily Schedule: Monday to Friday 11:00am-7:30pm, Day shift
Weekend Requirements: Rotating
Holiday Requirements: Rotating
Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay

Pay Range: $18.80 - $24.18 per hour
