Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Unit Secretary PRN at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. This role is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Reception and Communication: Greeting patients and visitors, managing communication.

• Patient Chart Management: Managing patient charts.

• Clerical Support: Handling clerical tasks and supporting the patient care team.

• Patient-Centered Care: Assisting with patient-centered care activities.

• Maintaining a Safe and Organized Environment: Ensuring the unit is safe and organized.

• Clerical and Organizational Skills: Demonstrating strong clerical and organizational skills.

• Communication Skills: Possessing excellent communication skills.

• Customer Service Skills: Providing exceptional customer service.

• Medical Terminology Knowledge: Understanding medical terminology.

• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.

• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
