Unit Secretary Pediatric ICU

About the role

We're here to guide parents through this critical period, offering assistance, education, and support every step of the way. PICU is an award winning team and a 30 bed critical care unit of Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. Level 1 Trauma Care, for critical trauma cases Level 1 PICU (highest acuity of patients there is). We have a congenital heart program and cardiovascular surgery program, for cardiac kids. We also have our own pharmacy and research team.

Responsibilities

• Performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains confidential records, supplies and equipment per hospital and unit specific standards.
• Acts as the “go to” on each unit for clerical support.
• Taking phone calls.
• Helping with directions to all visitors or outside team members to the unit (lab, radiology
