Unit Secretary/Monitor Technician, Emergency

The role encompasses the ability to maintain clerical organization within the unit and competently monitor the telemetry.

• Maintain clerical organization within the unit.
• Monitor telemetry competently.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage, prioritize, and complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Detect cardiac arrhythmias and understand medical terminology.
• Hold a current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year experience as Unit Secretary or completion of Unit Secretary course preferred.
• Passing score of 80% or greater on a basic EKG course exam.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in cardiac arrhythmia detection and medical terminology.

Skills

• Able to manage, prioritize, and complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned, in a timely and efficient manner.

PAY RANGE $21.50 - $29.84
