Unit Secretary - Med Surg. 7PM- 7AM
Iberia Medical Center (IMC) in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Unit Secretary - Med Surg. 7PM- 7AM to join our dedicated team. This position interacts with patients and other staff to ensure the unit operates efficiently, handling tasks such as ordering supplies, answering phones, and communicating important information.
- Orders supplies
- Answers telephones
- Communicates pertinent information to other departments
- Enters orders in the computer system
- Placing labs on charts
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with coworkers
- Good communication skills
- Good customer service skills
