Unit Secretary - General Medicine 7300 (FT Nights)
Location: Barnes-Jewish Hospital
Schedule
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM every 3rd weekend; 3-4 holidays per year

The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team.
Responsibilities
- Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support.
- Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail.
- Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures.
- Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required
- No supervisor experience required
