Duties
- Greets visitors, directs visitors appropriately; maintains the communication flow of the office.
- Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and organized during stressful situations.
- Answers the telephone in a professional manner; screens calls, takes messages, directs calls appropriately.
- Sorts, logs and distributes all incoming mail; identifies mail that needs immediate attention.
- Maintains an organized, efficient filing system. Debrides files according to established department and hospital guidelines.
- Records, prepares and distributes meeting minutes.
- Orders supplies and printing weekly.
- Assists in cost containment through appropriate ordering and conserving of supplies and equipment.
- Interacts professionally with all visitors, within the department/office and with other departments.
- Transcribes from dictated or written material minutes, memoranda, policies, procedures and reports.
- Accepts other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Must be able to use office software's such as Microsoft, Word, Excel.
- Must be an organized multi tasker with strong written and verbal skills.

Work Type: Per Diem
Standard Hours: 8 hr shifts
Work Schedule: Eve 8
Work Shift: variable - weekends and holidays as needed
