About the Role
The Unit Secretary position organizes and manages the department's activities, including office supply inventory, room utilization, and audio/visual equipment utilization. You will provide clerical support for the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Director of Risk Management & Safety, coordinate special projects, and interact with physicians, hospital directors, executives, employees, patients, and families.

- Assists in the completion of department assignments.
- Manages office supply inventory and room/audio-visual equipment utilization.

Requirements
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required).
- High school graduate or equivalent (required).
- Graduate of Unit Secretary or medical terminology course (preferred).
- Unit Secretary experience (preferred).
- Experience with computers and medical terminology (required).
- Previous customer service and secretarial experience (preferred).
- Advanced computer skills (preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of PC-based computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- General knowledge of legal procedures/practices.
- Strong spelling, grammar, verbal communication, and written composition skills.
